Finding the Best – It Should be Easy

Over the weekend the U.S. athletes Sage Kotsenburg and Jamie Anderson won gold medals in both the Men’s and Women’s Slopestyle snowboard competition. Their elegant jumping, twisting and turning made it easy for the judges to identify them as the best, and within minutes of completing their runs, the scores were in and the world knew, without question, they were the best in this exciting competition.

In this technologically advanced society with our high-tech tools and internet connections, finding the best at anything — including insurance — should be easy. The Olympics are a good example of how judging is supposed to work. The criteria is defined, the competitors compete and the judging is immediate.

Unfortunately it doesn’t work that way with insurance.  We all pay for insurance without any idea whether the company we buy our insurance from will pay our claims after a tragedy occurs.

Finding the Best

To simplify the judging process and speed the results, we are updating our ‘Quest for the Best Insurance Company’ competition with a one-question survey. Please fill out the survey below titled “Finding the Best.” It will take less than a minute to complete. The results will define our judging criteria for ranking insurance companies. With the judging criteria defined, we can immediately identify whose the best, and who isn’t, just like in the Olympics. This is the first step in helping everyone buy insurance that protects.

The poll has been closed. The results for the poll are shown in the chart below:
